Meeting Date & Time: Sunday, May 6, 2007 at l: 45 p.m.

Meeting Agenda – Prepared by Daniel Phillips
Approval of Agenda: Motion to approve revised agenda made by Robert Pender and seconded by Mike
Smith.
President’s Report: President Robert Pender again reminded those present to apply for permanent absentee
voting. He also presented copies of a letter from Mitchell Omerberg from The Affordable Housing Alliance and
recommended our support. A motion was made by Daniel Phillips, seconded by Mike Smith to send a $100
donation to Omerberg and a copy of the letter of support to Leland Yee. President Pender also recommended
that anyone having problems with SFSU students contact Dr. Flowers, Dean of Students. He noted that he had
been contacted by residents of the Stonestown Apartments (now owned by SFSU) with problems they are having.
He also stated that Bert Polacci has said that he will pay for future meetings of PRO™ at 77 Cambon
Drive.
Secretary’s Report: Corrections from the March 26 special meeting were presented by Aaron Goodman.
Treasurer’s Report: Presented by Michele Miller.
Safety Committee Report: Presented by Michele Miller on the following topics:
1. Meeting on April 13th with Floren Lopez on issues with burglaries. Individuals were found guilty and will be
evicted but there are some family problems delaying this.
2. Michele has asked that as Chairman of the Safety Committee she be included in the loop of action on such
matters.
3. There are rules on moving sales that need to be enforced.
4. It has been reported that recent crimes are down; however it was brought out that this might be due to SFSU
Spring break.
5. The Safety Topics that are to be displayed still has not been done but management has indicated that it would
still be done.
6. There is to be a meeting with Floren Lopez to discuss the production of Safety Material to be a part of the initial
leasing document
7. Michele Miller is to write an article on Safety issues, which is to be printed and distributed by Parkmerced
Management.
8. 50 Chumasero Tower is moving forward with Block Safety program.
9. Problems with Landscape work were brought up. Arne Larsen reminded everyone that tenants need to contact
the right agency to complain/identify issues. It was noted that the repair of sidewalks is a city mandated
responsibility of management.
10. Michele Miller reported that the schedule of drills in the Towers is to be provided to the Safety Committee.
Communication Committee: Daniel Phillips reported that the next newsletter is in the process of being finalized.
Upcoming Events
1. Aaron Goodman reported that on June 12th there will be an Orientation of Access to Channel 29, which could
be useful in getting up various types of information.
2. The Parkmerced Farmers Market will be starting in June and we need to have our table there to pass out
information.
3. On Thursday, May 10th the management will be holding an open house at 516 Arballo on the new model
apartments.
Old Business: Daniel Phillips reported that as a follow-up from last month’s meeting a letter was sent to Xxxx
Xxxxx requesting hxx status as a Board member. As of yet xxx has made no response. Also he reported that Lynn
Handley has resigned as a member of the Board.
New Business: Aaron Goodman brought up the matter of the managements Long-term Development Plans and
reminded us that PRO needs to be involved in this matter.
Date of next meeting: Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
There was no further discussion. The meeting was adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
