                                             Of The Parkmerced Residents’ Organization

Meeting began: 7:10 PM

Members Present:
Jim Coppfer, Terence John Faulkner, Annamarie Hewsom, Dorothy Lefkovits, Daniel
W. Phillips, Barbara Olson,  Earl E. Somers, Annamarie Hewsom, Susan Spector, William F. Thomas, Ralph
Weddington

Members Absent:  Cathy Lentz, Henry Tyldsley,  Jean-Moore Woods,

Members Excused:   Aaron Goodman, Robert Pender, Genevieve Callejo

Approval of the Agenda: Moved by Jim Coppfer and Seconded by Susan Spector. Approved
unanimously.

Secretary’s Report: Moved
by Jim Coppfer to accept the January 6, 2009 as amended. Seconded by
Ralph Weddington.
 Approved unanimously.

President’s report:  There will be a brief board meeting on March 2, 2009 at 7 PM to finalize preparations
for the General Membership meeting on February 21, 2009 and the March 4, 2009 Anniversary Party.  
Daniel asked board members to consider volunteering to assist Cathy Lentz with party preparations.  Daniel
recommended lifetime memberships for Ricardo and Genevieve Callejo, Joseph and Lillian Hobson, Robert
Pender, Lora Traveler.  
Moved by Susan Spector, seconded by Terence Faulkner.  Approved
unanimously.  Daniel recommended a plaque be presented to Taraval Police.

econded by Terence Faulkner.   Approved unanimously.  In addition to the above items for the February
21, 2009 meeting a representative of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) will make a
short presentation of the water pipeline work to be done on the Eastern side of Parkmerced between
Chumasero Drive and Crespi Circle. Seth Mallon will also make a short presentation followed by a question
and answer session on development

Old Business:  Update about the storage sights to be postponed until Lora Traveler and Aaron Goodman
can make a presentation at the next meeting.

The Following Donations were approved:
The Cultural Landscape Foundation: suggested donation 150 dollars per year.  Moved to accept Susan
Spector,
seconded by Earl Somers. Approved-Seven in favor and two opposed.
Housing rights Committee: Suggested donation $50 per year.  Moved by Terence Faulkner,
seconded
by Susan Spector. Approved unanimously.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation: suggested donation of $50 per year.  Moved by Terence
Faulkner,
seconded by Susan Spector.  Approved unanimously.
California Preservation Foundation: suggested donation $40 per year.   Moved by Terence Faulkner,
seconded by Susan Spector.   Approved unanimously.
Senior Action Network: suggested donation $40 per year.  Moved by Terence Faulkner, seconded by
Susan Spector.
Approved unanimously.
Daniel W. Phillips suggested a $100 denotation for Policeman’s Activity League (PAL) to be presented in
honor of The Taraval Police in San Francisco.
Moved by Terence Faulkner, seconded by Susan Spector.
Approved
--eight in favor, one abstention.

The following expenditures were also approved:
The SF Board of Supervisors agendas for committee: received bill for 2009 for $139.17 for notifications mail
(hard copies) check and form mist be returned to clerk of the board by February 20, 2009.  Moved to accept
Susan Spector, seconded Terence Faulkner. Approved unanimously.

New Business: Terence Faulkner will make a formal, written presentation to suggest new membership fees
and levels.  Susan Spector expressed concern because it is difficult to recruit members as is.

Lora Traveler arrived for the meeting,

Sustainable Committee: Aaron Goodman is the only member and Daniel W. Phillips proposes another
ember to assist Goodman. Terence Faulkner volunteered.
