Meeting Date and Location: January 13, 2008, 3711 19th Avenue, conference room.
Members Present: Betty Biles, Genevieve Callejo, Jim Coppfer, Aaron Goodman, Annamarie
Hewsom, Linh Ngoc Le. Cathie Lentz, Michele Miller, Daniel Phillips, Earl E. Somers
Member excused: Jean Moore-Woods, Susan Spector, Lora Traveler
Members absent: Terence John Faulkner and Healani Ting
It was announced that Robert Pender was retiring as President of the Board of Directors. Motion
by Aaron Goodman, second by Michele Miller to elect Robert Pender to President Emeritus.
Passed by unanimous vote.
It was announced that Denis Norrington was resigning from the board for personal reasons.
Genevieve Callejo addressed the board expressing the need for all board members to be
involved, and to involve other tenants with our work.
A Motion to censure Terence John Faulkner for misuse of the PRO database was made by
Daniel W. Phillips, one of the victims of the activity, second by Jim Coppfer. The board voted
to censure Terence John Faulkner for misusing confidential information for his own interests.
A letter to Healani Ting was presented to the board for consideration by Daniel W. Phillips. The
letter will be an admonishment for her actions, and emotional outbursts at several recent
meetings. Moved by Betty Biles and second by Michele Miller to delay the admonition until the
February 19, 2008 meeting of the board.
Daniel W. Phillips was elected President for 2008.
Aaron Goodman was elected 1st Vice-President for 2008.
Jim Coppfer was elected 2nd Vice President for 2008.
Michele Miller was re-elected Treasure for 2008.
Betty Biles was re-elected Recording secretary for 2008. Betty has since resigned from the
Board of Directors for health reasons, and the position of Recording Secretary is open.
The next regular meeting of the Board of Directors will be 7 PM Tuesday February 19, 2008.
The location will be 405 Serrano Drive.
