2. To maintain and monitor the accounts of the organization with the
strictest fiduciary duty.
3. To develop an annual budget by February of each year and to monitor
the overall budget to make sure the organization stays within budget
guidelines.
4. To serve as a member of the Finance Committee and in that
capacity, assist with the preparation of all audits and budget proposals and
the making of all investment decisions.
5. Any other duties as delegated by the President.
(b) These duties may be modified at the request of the Board.
SECTION 6: Duties of the Sergeant at Arms
(a) The Sergeant at Arms will be a voting member of The Board of Directors.
(b) The Sergeant at Arms will preside at all meetings to ensure order, and is
obligated and empowered to remove disorderly persons.
(c) The Sergeant at Arms may be called upon to perform other duties by
the President or the Board of Directors.
ARTICLE VI
COMMITTEES (NO PAID POSITIONS)
SECTION 1: Standing Committees
(a) The organization shall maintain the following Standing Committees:
Nominations Committee
Finance Committee
Membership Committee
Residents' Issues Committee
Communications Committee
Social Committee
(b) Each Committee shall meet at least quarterly and shall report directly to
the PRO Board of Directors at one of the regular Board meetings.
(c) Committee membership shall consist of The PRO members and at least
one (1) Director appointed by the Board at its January meeting.
(d) Each Committee shall elect a chairperson to be responsible for the
overall Committee operation and to attend monthly meetings of The PRO
Board of Directors.
SECTION 2: Nominations Committee
The duties of the Nominations Committee shall include:
(a) To prepare and publish nomination guidelines for the election of
Directors to the Board in accordance with these By-Laws, including distri-
strictest fiduciary duty.
