| BY-LAWS OF THE PARKMERCED RESIDENTS' ORGANIZATION ARTICLE I ORGANIZATION* |
SECTION 1: Purpose
.
The purpose of the Parkmerced Residents' Organization (PRO) shall
be to represent the interests and concerns of persons who are
residents of the Parkmerced Residential Community in the City and
County of San Francisco, California. PRO is a community service
group of volunteers.
SECTION 2: Objectives
In order to achieve the stated purpose in Section 1, the overall
objectives of the PRO shall include but not be limited to:
(a) Presenting to Parkmerced management the general issues and
concerns of the residents including recommended solutions to
assist in resolving whatever problems exist between PRO and
Parkmerced management.
(b) Providing general information to the residents of Parkmerced
regarding PRO activities and landlord-resident issues.
(c) Participating in the meetings and activities of other
tenant/resident organizations in order to stay apprised of
general issues affecting tenants in the City and County of
San Francisco.
SECTION 3: Incorporation, Officers and Fiscal Year
(a) The PRO shall be incorporated as a tax exempt not-for-profit
organization in compliance with all the appropriate state and
federal rules and regulations.
(b) The principal office of the organization for its transaction
of business shall be located in the City and County of San
Francisco,CA 94132.
(c) The principal mailing address shall be a P.O. Box.
(d) The fiscal year for PRO shall be January 1 through December
31 of each calendar year.
