President Emeritus Daniel W. Phillips has
lived in Parkmerced for 25 years. He has a
life-long affiliation with unions, including
Communications Worker of America (CWA)
and American Federation of Television and
Radio Artists (AFTRA).
Daniel has served as an active member of
PRO since 2000. He revitalized the news
letter and originated its current format with an
eye towards including more material. He is
not stranger to publications. He had a minor
in journalism at the University of Wisconsin.
Daniel also developed and built the PRO
Database, which is a confidential listing of
members, their addresses, telephone
numbers, years lived at Parkmerced, and
various volunteer activities.
He has been a member of The Board of
Directors for 8 years, serving as 1st Vice
President, and President of the Board of
Directors for seven years.
